[TMG 2010] Open port

Hello,

Sorry for my English, a little rusty ^ ^

I need to open TCP and UDP ports 46015 for a java application that connects us to a room with video outside.

http://evo.caltech.edu/evoGate/Documentation/faq/firewall/firewall.html

I create protocols and make the rule but it does not work!

the rule:

Web Conference -> Incoming TCP (46015) outgoing TCP (46015) UDP Send Receive (46015) -> From: Internal to External

When I enabled it works after 2-3 minutes it does not work ...

When I check in the log:

[Engine][analyseNetwork]  Default UDP port (46015): false, RTT = 0
[Engine][analyseNetwork] ... tested with xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
[Engine][analyseNetwork] Default TCP port (46015): false
[Engine][analyseNetwork]  Port 80 TCP: true
[Engine][analyseNetwork]  Port 443 TCP: true
[Engine][analyseNetwork]  Port 8080 TCP: false
[Engine][analyseNetwork]  Port 8443 TCP: false

Thank youfor your help

Hi,

It seems that the TCP and UDP port 46015 are still blocked. You can run "telnet [domainname or ip] [port] " to make sure that if that port is opened or not. In addition, would you please post the sanpscreen of the access rule in TMG?

Best regards,

Susie

Thanks for your help

The port is closed :

TCP E -> Incoming

TCP S -> Outgoing

UDP E S -> Send and receive

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

It seems that you have only created outbound rules for those ports. You can create inbound rules for the ports to see if the issue persists. In addition, which kind of firewall policy rules you have created? It seems like System Policy rules.

Best regards,

Susie
